Japan Expo Paris [Artist Exhibit] Support Case 2025

At the Japan Expo, we support exhibitors so that they can feel safe and demonstrate their power. Among them, it is also important to create an atmosphere where exchanges between exhibitors are born. Exhibiting in a foreign country is more uneasy and confusing than at domestic events, but it is precisely because of this environment that the bonds between exhibitors are deepened, and it is often positive for each other's activities. In fact, we often hear from exhibitors saying, “Being able to build bonds with friends was a great harvest.”

Also, it is our role to think together about how this event can be used according to the direction of each artist. There are people who want to actively disseminate information overseas, and there are also people who want to see what kind of response there is first. We are flexibly proposing deployment methods according to each phase.

There are times when I hear voices saying, “If you don't look overseas, you won't be able to participate,” but this is not necessarily the case. Even for those whose activities are centered around Japan, the Japan Expo can be an opportunity to attract attention from within Japan and a place for branding. Of course, it will be a huge opportunity for those aiming to expand overseas. We would like the exhibitors to make the most of this event in a way that suits their respective purposes.

Towards the next fiscal year

Next year is the 25th anniversary of the Japan Expo!

Japan Promotion will support artists exhibiting at the Japan Expo Paris Traditional Culture Pavilion “WABI SABI” in 2026, which is an exciting anniversary year.

As a place for artists to seize opportunities in Europe, we plan to have a support system where they can participate with peace of mind even when they are exhibiting overseas for the first time.
