We celebrated our 5th year as an official partner in 2015Japan ExpoAs part ofWABI SABIThe event was held under the theme of “circle — edge (yen).” This theme symbolizes the enduring and amicable relationship between Japan and France.WABI SABIIt was highly popular in a wide range of fields, such as traditional crafts and handicrafts, paintings reflecting Japanese sensitivities, calligraphy, photography, and haiku and tanka that convey the beauty of Japanese. In particular, support for overseas expansion by local governments, starting with Kumamoto Prefecture, attracted a great deal of attention following the previous year. This event provided a place for general visitors, especially young people and families, as well as celebrities, media, and gallerists, to encounter high-quality art works and actively interact with artists.
