In addition to this statue, the Japanese garden “Tanaka-en,” which gathers bronze statues of representative works by Hirakushida, such as Nishiyama Shoyō, Okakura Tenshin, and Yoshihiro, is also one of the famous places Ibara City is proud of.

Strong tag team for “Yoichi-kun” in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture, and “Tochisuke” in Tochigi City

Otawara City in Tochigi Prefecture, which is a sister city of Ihara City, has also announced an exhibition. The local character “Yoichi-kun” (left) from Otawara City is modeled after the great general Nasu Yoichi. It is an area rich in nature where there are many historical heritage sites such as Nasu Shrine and Otawara Castle Ruins, which are said to have been donated by Yoichi Nasu, and the ruins of Otawara Castle, and are designated as natural monuments, living in clear streams.
