The “Urasenke Tea Ceremony Workshop” was held on Saturday, November 19. We invited the lecturers from Urasenke International Association (UIA), which continues to work in various places to internationalize the tea ceremony. The reassuring traditional culture experience workshop, which has been carefully handed down since ancient times, attracted attention by creating a special space in the city of Harajuku, where many young people come and go.

People of all ages, from middle and high school students to parents and children, visited the moshi box because they could easily experience the tea ceremony, which is interesting but seems difficult, and the threshold is high.
At first, many participants had a slightly nervous expression on their faces, and tried their hand at it by imitating manners unique to the tea ceremony. Under the careful guidance of everyone at UIA, they were also seen going through trial and error with unfamiliar hands, but there were also many voices that were moved by the dignified beauty of the movements, and by the time the experience was over, everyone showed a clean and radiant smile.
On this day, Yuri Suganuma, a model belonging to Asobi Systems, also visited the venue and experienced the workshop.
“It seems like I can be beautiful both mentally and physically. “It's nice to be able to concentrate better,” she felt with her skin a sense of beauty unique to Japan, and fluttered her face in a satisfied manner.

Foreign tourists were also seen showing interest in Japanese chanoyu culture, and a German family that participated with their families said, “The bitterness is good. I don't like commercial teas, but this is delicious!” I enjoyed the delicious matcha.
The “Wabi Sabi” experience unique to Japan invited visitors to a peaceful timeline and brought about a gentle moment.
