The venue is the tourist information center “Moshi Moshi Box” in Harajuku, Tokyo. In addition to introducing recommended tourist spots, we also provide useful information about staying in Japan, from how to eat sushi well to Harajuku's latest entertainment. For foreign tourists, it is a spot that can be said to be an information center for Japanese culture as a whole.
Workshop content
10/15 (Sat) is “Change into kimono! A “photo shooting event” was held. The guests were invited by Sakura Enza, a group of creators who sublimate good old Japanese culture into contemporary art with a unique sensibility and disseminate it to the world.
A unique collaboration between Sakura Enza's glittering worldview, who is also active on international stages such as Paris Collection and Japan Expo, and Moshi Box, the transmission base for Harajuku kawaii culture, has been realized.
Many people, including foreign tourists, crowded the venue because it was easy to fit beautiful traditional Japanese kimonos and imitation swords.
The participants looked very excited, wearing gorgeous and highly artistic costumes. There were also many voices of emotion over the beautiful appearance of the Sakura Enza members.
After changing into kimono, I took a commemorative photo with everyone at Sakura Enza dressed in bright colors.
The moshi box on this day was filled with the smiles of participants enjoying Japanese culture in their own poses.
