This term also overlaps with France's largest international contemporary art fair “FIAC,” and it is expected that it will continue to flourish.

Featured Exhibiting Artists

We will introduce the works of photographer Nobuyuki Kobayashi from among the artists exhibiting at Japan Promotion.
Mr. Kobayashi has presented photography works that combine the Shinto teaching that gods dwell in everything with the Japanese sense of beauty represented by “grace,” using a unique method.
By applying platinum and palladium printing to Japanese paper (Hosokawa paper), which has been certified as a UNESCO cultural heritage, it creates a unique texture. It is said that this printing method has very little change over time and the color won't fade for over a thousand years. “If we could deliver our thoughts to humanity a thousand years from now,” says Kobayashi. We are expanding the field of photographic art with washi, a traditional Japanese craft, and unique technology.
