The venue is the tourist information center “Moshi Moshi Box” in Harajuku, Tokyo. In addition to introducing recommended tourist spots, we also provide useful information about staying in Japan, from how to eat sushi well to Harajuku's latest entertainment. For foreign tourists, it is a spot that can be said to be an information center for Japanese culture as a whole.

Workshop content

The “Yukata Styling Event” was held on 7/30 (Sat).
This event, hosted by the NPO corporation “Beauty Japon,” which disseminates Japanese beauty to the world under the theme of “tradition and creation of kimonos,” attracted enthusiastic attention from women in Harajuku who are sensitive to fashion because participants themselves were able to receive virtual fitting experiences and authentic styling by professionals.

Above all, many people packed the “virtual fitting,” where you can easily try it on just by standing in front of the screen, and it was bustling from beginning to end.
Also, people who actually experienced professional hair, makeup, and photography showed that they were a little nervous about this rare experience, but they were surprised and delighted by their beautifully polished appearance, and their faces fluttered.

Furthermore, models dressed in innovative costumes that remade yukata appeared at the event, and the area around the moshi box was gorgeously decorated. Many foreign tourists passing by were seen holding cameras as they embody the new beauty of Japan.
