The venue is the tourist information center “Moshi Moshi Box” in Harajuku, Tokyo. In addition to introducing recommended tourist spots, we also provide useful information about staying in Japan, from how to eat sushi well to Harajuku's latest entertainment. For foreign tourists, it is a spot that can be said to be an information center for Japanese culture as a whole.
The lecturer was Miho, a calligrapher. They have performed in many video works and events for calligraphy performances, and are doing spectacular activities. We are involved in numerous titles and character productions for TV shows, movies, music stages, famous department stores, etc., starting with NHK.
The workshop starts by calming the mind and “applying ink.” Of course, those living in Japan will be supported by an interpreter, so foreigners can also practice calligraphy. After translating your favorite words into kanji, I will carefully explain the meaning of the characters.
Once you've practiced basic brushwork, let's enjoy creating your own creations. Finally, write on a coaster with a Yuzen pattern and it's done! You can also take a commemorative photo with Miho.
