Nishizaki Jun Solo Exhibition “The Truth of Life Reflected in Their Eyes”

The painter who started on 1/18 (Sat) is a painter living in Nara prefectureMr. Jun NishizakiA solo exhibition by. Mr. Nishizaki, who has created many noble yet mysterious, and has many fans both domestically and internationally, is also called “a painter who gouges out the inner world of humans, like Egon Schiele, who played an active part in Vienna at the end of the century,” and has attracted attention because of his style.
Mr. Nishizaki says he conveys his way of life through drawing. The 60 works displayed in the museum asked questions deep in the hearts of viewers from various angles, and quickly fascinated people with their cruelly beautiful and sublime view of the world.

Visitors' Voices
・The “bright gaze” (where are they looking and what are they thinking) drawn by Nishizaki-san was impressive. I also thought the color scheme was wonderful.
・There are also unexpected works, such as those using bandages and those with scissors attached, etc., and I am completely fascinated.
・I was able to enjoy the world of her work as a one and only artist to my heart's content. I always get that feeling of “staring.” I feel such a strange fascination, as if I had met him somewhere.
・While looking at the characters in the work, I was wondering what the teacher himself was thinking while looking at this picture. It's also wonderful that they capture humans as “people” without making them feel gender, and are confined to the picture.
・I feel happy to be at this venue today. Thank you for the luxurious time and space.
・The lighting and how to show each work were interesting and I enjoyed it. I'm glad that the video work was also mysterious.
・I was fascinated by the melancholic expression of the woman. The artist Jun Nishizaki is unknown, and since I first met him today, I stopped in front of his work over and over for tens of minutes and was fascinated.
・Some of the paintings felt like they already had a soul in them.
· Everything was great. Also, I hope that the painter will resume his activities once his physical strength is restored. I sincerely pray for your recovery.
・I can't write my impressions (there are too many things). It was so impressive when I saw it that I couldn't write it down. How should I tell you...

The exhibition came to an end with great success, receiving a lot of feedback not only from Nishizaki's fans who rushed in from afar, but also from people who first encountered the work through this exhibition.
At Japan Promotion, we will continue a wide range of initiatives, from planning to operation, production, and PR work, to strongly support the activities of Japanese artists in various places both domestically and internationally.
