While modern skyscrapers are lined up, along Dubai Creek, the northern cove where the foundation of the city of Dubai was built, there is a section called “Old Dubai” where you can feel an old souk (market), such as the Al Seef district and Al Fahidi district. From the boat dock along Dubai Creek, you can board a wooden “abra boat” (“ferry” in Arabic), which used to be a means of transportation in Dubai, and go to the city on the opposite bank.
