What is HYPER JAPAN (HYPER JAPAN)?

HYPER JAPAN started in 2010 as an event introducing Japan's “now” from multiple angles, such as manga, anime, music, fashion, food, traditional culture, games, and technology. The event, which boasts the largest scale in the UK as an event specializing in Japanese culture, attracts participants not only from England but also from European countries such as France and Belgium, and its scale is expanding year by year.

According to the consumption trends of foreign visitors to Japan in 2019 announced by the Japan Tourism Agency, it is said that food and drink expenses account for 20% or more of travel expenses. At HYPER JAPAN, the food area is gaining great popularity every year, starting with the “Sake Experience,” where you can taste Japanese sake, and along with that, interest in food culture and traditional crafts unique to various regions has also increased year by year.
Also, there is strong support for pop culture represented by comics and anime, places where you can feel so-called “wabi sabi,” such as shrines and temples, Japanese gardens, and hot springs, etc., and it is expected that the popularity of Japanese culture, which has various charms, will expand more and more greatly in the future.

Information on special packages for local governments

Japan Promotion has now prepared a special package for local governments that wish to exhibit at the “HYPER JAPAN Festival 2020.”
In addition to operational support during the exhibition, we will establish a full all-in-one system, from transportation to production of various tools and report preparation after the event, to support local inbound promotion.

≪Regional Promotion Limited All-in-One Exhibition Package≫
Exhibition package fee: ¥1,740,000 (excluding tax)

‍① Shell Booth
We will construct dedicated booths divided for each local government and prepare various tools necessary for exhibiting, such as power supplies, lights, tables, and chairs.

② Transportation services
Items to be handled at the booth, such as products to be exhibited and pamphlets for distribution, are collected, and overseas transportation and import/export procedures between Japan and the UK will be handled on your behalf. The remaining stock will be returned and returned to Japan after the exhibition period.

③ Sales management services
We handle various tasks related to product sales, such as local accounting returns and tax payment operations. Settlement is carried out in Japanese yen, and this allows exhibitors to clearly account for regular sales.

④ Business matching
Matching and networking with local travel buyers and related media will be carried out in various ways during the exhibition.

・Venue tour: We gather local companies and conduct a tour around the booths of local government exhibitors.

⑤ Production services
Company names (group names), profile introduction panels, product description tags, etc. required for booth activities are translated into English and made into panels (tags) based on Japanese manuscripts submitted in advance.

⑥ Stage PR
You can do PR for visitors on the HYPER JAPAN official stage. Please use it for various purposes such as introducing local characters, disseminating regional performing arts, and more.
