From exhibiting Ukiyo-e, which has original editions from the Edo period, to reproductions and demonstrations in a printmaker's workshop, projection mapping of Hokusai comics, and expressions that combine calligraphy and lasers. It brings out the artistry of Ukiyo-e with a contemporary artistic approach and provides a new cultural experience that transcends time. Along with an actual woodblock print exhibition of masterpieces, it creates a multi-layered media art space where you can experience “Ukiyo (= the world we live in)” from 200 years ago with three-dimensional expressions using Japanese paper, ink, light, images, etc. This exhibition is a pilot version carried out at the Ueno Royal Museum of Art, but it can be customized and offered for domestic and international events and commercial facilities.
