Festival du Livre de Paris (commonly known as Livre Paris) is one of the largest book fairs in Japan, held every spring in Paris, France. Every year, about 1,000 publishers exhibit, and about 3,000 writers participate, and it is a literary festival. Literature lovers gather not only from within France, but also from all over Europe and the world. Another characteristic is that a wide range of genres are taken up, from literary books to comics, children's books, academic books, etc. In Japan Promotion, in addition to a collection of French poems by Japanese poets, a special issue of Japanese painters, etc. of “UNIVERS DES ARTS (Univers des Arts),” one of the three major French art magazines, will be introduced. In addition to French art publishers, there was a high level of interest in Japanese culture and art from media organizations with the power to disseminate culture, such as broadcasting stations and libraries.
