A gallery where art and culture live in the heart of Paris Saint-Germain

Paris is home to the best of European art. Among them, the “Étienne de Causin Gallery” is located in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district where intelligence and sensibility intersect.
Facing the Seine, this historic gallery is close to the Louvre Museum and is in the heart of Paris, steeped in history and culture.
The gallery, which has introduced a diverse range of artists across genres and borders over the years, is highly regarded as a place of active exchange with art lovers, critics, collectors, and cultural media from around the world. Curation based on refined spaces and an aesthetic sense is truly worthy of being called the intersection of art and knowledge.
The owner, Étienne de Causin, has a deep understanding and passion for cultural ties between France and Japan, and has led numerous Japan-France cultural exchange exhibitions to success. Most visitors to the gallery are people with deep interest in academic fields such as art museums and universities, and attention to traditional Japanese arts and crafts is growing year by year.
This gallery, where tradition and innovation, and East and West are in harmony, is truly a doorway to encounter “the beauty of the world.”
Surrender to color

Painter Noriko Miyauchi emotionally depicts images that come to mind with beautiful colors and a gentle touch like a trail of light.
Her work unfolds a unique imaginary landscape expressed through fragments of everyday life, such as intertwining strings, cleverly arranged mosaic patterns, and fluctuating water at the edge of the waves.
Its sense of color and excellent balance evokes conflicting feelings of “buzz” and “peace” in the viewer's mind, and stimulates each viewer's imagination.
In this exhibition, 18 works by Noriko Miyauchi are collected and exhibited in one place. The people who visited the venue surrendered themselves to the exciting world of colors and enjoyed appreciating the work while being wrapped in beautiful scenes with their own interpretations.
Comments from art historians/art critics
Noriko Miyauchi's works are like poems viewed while being wrapped in color, and there is a new worldview that stimulates thought and sensibility.
The drawn lines are reflected in the eyes as if they were flowing, making me feel very strange.
(Eric Monsanjon, local art historian and art critic)
