Kaohsiung City is positioned as Taiwan's second largest economic and cultural center. “ART KAOHSIUNG Kaohsiung Art Fair (Art Kaohsiung)” is an art fair hosted by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the same city and has been held since 2013. The focus is on Southeast Asian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese art with the aim of revitalizing the art market. Since the government is the main body, a lot of media coverage such as newspapers and television is also carried out. It is one of the major art fairs in Taiwan.

The art fair “ART KAOHSIUNG 2022,” which is growing international recognition year by year, was held for 4 days from 2022/11/10 (Thursday) to 13 (Sun) in Kaohsiung City, the second-largest city in Taiwan facing the Taiwan Strait to the west and the Bashi Strait to the south, as a commemorative edition for the 10th anniversary.
