Rogue Space Chelsea

Rogue, which operates “Rogue Space Chelsea,” has a philosophy of seeking peace through art, and is making efforts to provide food for aid to poverty, such as using pictures of children in Syria and Afghanistan for charity.
Based on this philosophy, the owner, Kevin O'Hanlon, is known as an art director who discovers and introduces excellent works from a wide range of perspectives, from traditional art to contemporary installations, concerts, and fashion shows, transcending genres and races.

Here in Chelsea, there are over 300 galleries. Long-established stores such as the famous GAGOSIAN GALLERY (GAGOSIAN GALLERY), MARY BOONE GALLERY (Mary Boone Gallery), and Matthew Marks Gallery (Matthew Marks Gallery) are also gathered here.
It is the most vibrant art market area in New York, where works by leading contemporary artists such as Takashi Murakami, Jeff Koons, Damian Hurst, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jasper Jones, Warhol, and Rauschenberg come and go on a daily basis.
The view of the “Gallery Building,” which houses art on all floors of the building, is also impressive. Rogue Space Chelsea is on the top floor of the gallery building. I am in an environment where I can always touch the eyes of people involved in art.
Also, as the Japan Move solo exhibition period approaches, it is reported in art magazines such as “Weekly NY” and “Art Haps” and web news, showing the high level of attention paid to Japanese art.

site 109

“Site 109” is a gallery founded in 2011 by Helen Allen and Meryl Weinsaft Cooper. It was named this way because it is located at “109,” which is close to Durancy Street station and Essex Street station.
Mr. Allen, who is familiar with art management, was introduced as “one of the shining stars under the age of 40” in a 2007 New York business magazine. Mr. Cooper is a social media specialist and artist, and is also active as a PR marketing director.
In addition to art exhibitions, it is famous as a gallery dealing with carefully selected artists from various genres, such as various art events and fashion shows.

The Lower East Side, where Site 109 is located, became a major area influencing the global art scene due to the relocation of the contemporary art specialty facility “New Museum of Contemporary Art” in 2007, and more than 200 contemporary art galleries were relocated and newly established. Experimental and innovative art events and exhibitions are actively being held even in New York.
High-end boutiques and restaurants have also increased synergistically in the surrounding area, and energy that perfectly integrates culture and economy is being generated every day from the entire city.
