“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor Imajo Enthronement Feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

This is the season when the blue of the sky is dazzling. The August Gato introduces works by Japanese painters who develop a unique world of paintings inspired by nature, such as light, wind, sea, and living creatures. The sea creatures drawn by making full use of ancient Japanese natural materials, gold leaf, and silver leaf lead viewers to nostalgic summer memories.
