“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

In Gato in May, we will introduce 10 pen paintings full of “kindness” that will gently blend into your heart. A realistic yet unrealistic world drawn with only the blue color of the pen. The plants and animals depicted stir our imagination and bring us a time of healing. Please enjoy the worldview of the author who talks about the reason for choosing the color blue, “because it's a gentle color that doesn't force you, doesn't exert you, doesn't get depressed.”
