“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

The March Gato Festival introduces 7 Japanese paintings that express abstract paintings, Western landscape paintings, etc. from a new perspective using traditional Japanese techniques. Images reflected only in the author's feelings, and the many works that embody such an unknown world are as beautiful as jewels and give viewers a time of deep healing. Please enjoy a new Japanese painting expression that combines tradition with a unique sensibility.
