Exhibition space
“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast”, and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content
The July Gato introduces 9 works by oil painters who paint flowers by overlapping the characters “flower” and “Chinese history.” The overlapping paint and intertwined yarn seem to embody the layers of an era connected by the ancients, and I feel somewhat nostalgic and nostalgic for the good old days.
Please enjoy a relaxing time created by beautiful colors that capture a moment from the times.

*This project will be exhibited at a restaurant, so you can enjoy your meal while watching. We ask for your understanding in advance.
