[World Art Dubai 2016] Exhibiting Artist Interview Video Released

World Art Dubai came to an end on 4/9 (Sat). Amidst a very welcoming mood for Japanese art, there were VIP visits every day, sales and transactions of high-priced works were actively carried out, and we were blessed with encounters where the next business development was expected. Here is an interview video with artists exhibiting at the Japan Promotion by World Art Dubai organizers, from among those that were picked up by various media during the exhibition.

◎ Shimonagase Minako (Shimonagase, Minako)
‍In 1989, I met Bead Flower in New York, USA, and began lessons. In 2004, “Bead Flowers That Color Our Lives” and the 2009 work collection “The World of Candy Garden” were published. In 2011, he established the Japan Bead Flower Association and became the first president. 2013Japan Expo ParisExhibited at It has received many awards such as the Swarovski Design Contest and the Bead Biennale. He created the world's largest bead flower “Cherry Blossom of Hope,” with 3 million beads, and is a leading expert in Japanese bead flowers.

‍◎ Miura Mayuko (Miura Mayuko)
‍Born in Tokyo. Miura Mayuko, who has had a strong sense of sensitivity since she was a child, notices that the people she meets clearly cheer up. At one point, I have a miraculous experience where a picture I drew for a friend in a playful way expands happiness for that friend and the people around me. Inspired by that joy and excitement, she began her creative activities in 2008. Currently, while exhibiting works at the National Museum of Art, domestic and international galleries, hospitals, etc., he is creating a real world of peace of mind, centering on “amulets” made from ancient Japanese cannabis paper and “artoriums,” which color the ocean where humans were born with light.
