“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast”, and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

The December Gato introduces 10 works by painters that convey good old “Japonism” through cat paintings and specter paintings.
Adorable cats drawn with a simple touch under the consistent concept of “Japanese.” Please enjoy such a relaxing time that will make you smile unintentionally.
