“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast”, and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

In November's Gato, we are introducing 9 works by artists who have been facing calligraphy for over 50 years and pursue the power of calligraphy expression.
The characters dancing on the paper are sometimes soft, sometimes powerful, and almost as if they were alive. Please enjoy the world of calligraphy sent along with vivid color expressions.
