“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast”, and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

The July Gato introduces 8 works by calligraphers who correctly unravel the history of characters and continue to express themselves under the motto of writing characters that anyone can read as a Japanese person.
Her work, which vividly captures the appearance and expression of flowers blooming every season on Japanese paper, will bring a beautiful moment of silence to the viewer's heart.

While enjoying authentic kaiseki cuisine, enjoy calligraphy works created with a refined sense of beauty to your heart's content.
