“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor (current emperor) enthronement feast”, and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

In Gato in June, we are introducing 10 works by paper cutout artists who continue to create under the theme of “art where you can experience the vibrations of the One Sword Immersion.”
The elaborate cutout works, which are engraved with a grand message, from the microscopic world to the macro world, have a strong impact and stir up the viewer's imagination.

While enjoying authentic kaiseki cuisine, please enjoy the world of ultimate beauty that combines the transience and strength of paper.
