A calligraphy performance that was performed while a large audience watched

At the opening party for VIP guests on the evening of 3rd (Wednesday), calligraphy artists exhibiting at JAPAN ZONE showed off their unique craftsmanship.

On a stage using a huge 3 x 5 m wall surface, they showed an elegant performance combining calligraphy and painting expressions using acrylic, and overwhelmed many spectators watching with a serious expression.

The calligraphy workshop, which can be experienced while learning about the origin of kanji, flooded in with people who wanted to participate, which greatly exceeded the planned number. While sharpening their senses, they challenged the single letter “flower.”
Among the participants were Arab calligraphers. After the workshop, as a thank you for the guidance, the names of the artists exhibiting at JAPAN ZONE who acted as lecturers were written in Arabic calligraphy and presented as gifts, and a rich international exchange was born.

Challenge yourself with cutout on the theme of “DUBAI”!

The paper cutout workshop was also crowded with many participants regardless of age or gender.
A woman who participated in the workshop and woke up to the fun of paper cutting was given a personal production kit by the artist, saying “I want them to continue taking on the challenge in the future.”

Workshops using gold leaf by Buddhist painters were also very crowded. It was a great success, with lines starting 2 hours before the start, and participants drew their own patterns on smartphone cases and photo frames by attaching gold leaf cut into various shapes to their favorite shapes.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, many requests were received from artists exhibiting at JAPAN ZONE to exhibit at art fairs around the world, such as Mexico, Miami, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and the Mauritius Islands.

[Publication of works in UAE art books]
I received an offer from the publisher Art Association to publish works by artists exhibiting at JAPAN ZONE in an art book that gathers the world's top art. Also known as a gift to the royal family, this book has an important meaning in the UAE art scene.
