“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor Imajo Enthronement Feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Shiwasu welcomes us, and the entire Omotesando area is gorgeously decorated with illuminations. The December Gato, located along Aoyama Street, introduces 10 works by decorative artists who have skillfully manipulated Japanese paper, cloth, and craft techniques unique to Japan and incorporated them into their works.
The creative work, composed of sharp, vivid colors and smooth lines, will strongly stimulate the viewer's five senses and bring bright vitality.

While savoring authentic kaiseki cuisine, enjoy the world of decorative arts to your heart's content, which interweaves vivid combinations of Japanese paper and old kimono fabrics with innovative designs.
