“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor Imajo Enthronement Feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

In February's Gato, we are introducing 10 works by artists who focus on the kimono “obi” and pursue a world of beauty where tradition and modernity blend with their own methods.
Many beautiful works using obi, which contain the “essence” unique to traditional Japanese crafts, are woven, dyed, embroidered, and patterned, bringing a sense of glamor and warmth unique to early spring to sophisticated spaces with elegant lanterns.

Enjoy a joyful moment with your loved ones in a creative and elegant art space.
