“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor Imajo Enthronement Feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

I would like to congratulate you on the new year.
At the start of the new year, the January Gato introduces 12 works by quilt artists who deeply enjoy the color and texture of old cloth while pursuing expression that makes use of that expression.
In addition to the warmth and lovable atmosphere unique to quilts, many of the works imbued with an innocent glow reminiscent of dreams conceived when they were young bring deep peace of mind to the viewer.

A season full of new hope and joy.
Please enjoy an exciting and precious moment in an enveloping art space full of love.
