“Gato” is a famous restaurant in Aoyama, Tokyo where you can enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine in a space where tradition and modernity are in harmony.
It is also known that they served meals at the “Emperor Imajo Enthronement Feast,” and valuable menus from that time are also displayed inside the store.

Exhibit content

This is the season when the sunlight filtering through the trees is sparkling and dazzling. The August Gato introduces 10 works by calligraphers who continue to write while being supported and guided by relationships and emotional connections between people.
The work, which is full of warm love and positive energy, makes viewers reaffirm the beauty of the Japanese language and brings a deep sense of emotion that seeps deep into the heart. Indulge in a beautiful, hopeful world of calligraphy while enjoying authentic kaiseki cuisine.
